Pokémon Z-A’s Mega Zeroara is cool and all, but I want c**ty Regirock to slay the day in Lumiose

Yeah, yeah, we all know that Mega Zeraora is the next big thing coming to Pokémon Legends: Z-A. But there are so many more legendaries that are, at least to us, more interesting.

The Pokémon Company announced this week that the Mega Dimension DLC coming to Z-A in December will bring a new form of Zeroara. It’s vaguely X-shaped, with a color palette reminiscent of both Lucario and Luxray. BORING. It has two… wings? Appendages? I’m not sure what to call them, but it has back bits now.

I, personally, find this really low effort, and suggest something else instead. Engaging profanity filter…

C**ty Regirock, with a handbag.

It took TikTok by storm and still crops up and gets a good, solid laugh out of me. Ok, sure, it’s a meme, but why not fuse a key legendary Pokémon with Lumiose City’s passion for fashion in a new legendary form? It could use the handbag in combat!

We’ve all been shopping in the City’s numerous boutiques, so it’s not hard to imagine a Regirock as our companion, roaming with us in its mega-evolved form. Imagine the style tips it could impart.

‘What about its moves?’ I hear you ask. ‘There’s no bag-related TMs here’. No, but there could be. Zeraora gets new moves, so c**nty Reggie easily can too. A new version of Rock Throw, but it’s a gigantic bag. Stone Edge 2 could summon a huge purse from the ground to swallow your opponent. Rock Polish? Like Rock Nail Polish to go with the mascara and lip gloss. The choices are almost endless.

Sigh, we can only dream. For now, we’re stuck with what the Pokémon Legends: Z-A mystery gift codes, which unfortunately isn’t any fashion-forward ‘Mon.
