Tencent’s Codename Crime-Vice Open World Enters Early Access
Tencent Games’ publishing label Level Infinite has released early access for Codename Crime-Vice Open World on Android devices in Indonesia, Canada, and the United States. The game, which was first announced last year and previously tested in the US, is now available for download through the Google Play Store in these regions.
Codename Crime-Vice Open World is an action RPG set in an open-world city called Rooklyn. The game focuses on crime-themed gameplay where players work their way through the criminal underworld. After a failed bank robbery lands the player character in jail, the story begins with their release and entry into Rooklyn’s crime scene.

The game features exploration of city streets and back alleys, encounters with rival gangs, and various criminal activities. Players can participate in shootouts, street races, and cooperative heists with other players. The game also includes business management elements where players can run illegal operations to earn money, which can be spent on vehicles and customization options.

Key features include weapon variety, vehicle customization, player-versus-player combat, and multiplayer cooperation for heist missions. The game draws comparisons to the Grand Theft Auto series due to its open-world crime setting and gameplay mechanics. The early access version is currently limited to Android users. Level Infinite has not announced plans for an iOS version or a wider global release at this time.
