HomeBois BSE has defended their crown at the 2025 Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC), defeating Nova Esports 4-0 in the Grand Finals at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The Malaysian squad showed complete control throughout the match, leaving no opportunity for their opponents to mount a comeback. This victory marks their second straight world championship title and caps off a historic tournament where Malaysian teams claimed all three podium spots.

Many fans expected a tight series after Nova Esports fell 4-1 to HomeBois BSE in yesterday’s Upper Bracket Final. However, the defending champions came out strong from the opening game, controlling team fights and securing key objectives to shut down any hopes of a comeback from Nova Esports. GuiYu earned the Finals MVP (FMVP) award for his performance during the championship run. The winning roster included GuiYu, MusangKing, ZhiHong, VV, and Same. Together, this five-player lineup has now cemented their names in Honor of Kings history as back-to-back world champions.

With this victory, HomeBois BSE, Nova Esports, and Alpha Gaming have all secured their spots in the Honor of Kings Challenger Cup 2025, where Malaysia will continue its strong presence in the competitive scene.
