admin WFS has announced a new crossover event for Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space. Titled Memories of Another Sky, it launches on December 3 (PST) / December 4 (UTC). The event introduces four iconic characters from Final Fantasy IX: Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, and Steiner. Special login bonuses will also be available throughout the event to celebrate the collaboration.
A New Journey Begins in Alexandria
The story begins when Aldo, Another Eden’s protagonist, falls through a hole in spacetime and lands in Alexandria. Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe rescue him. Aldo joins them to prepare for Princess Garnet’s birthday celebration.
Players will enjoy seeing Aldo, Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, and Steiner work together in new story sequences. Nostalgic references to Final Fantasy IX appear throughout Alexandria. Fans will also encounter other familiar faces from the classic game, adding depth to the crossover adventure.
Final Fantasy IX-Inspired Gameplay Mechanics
Memories of Another Sky adds mechanics inspired by Final Fantasy IX. Players can equip new Support Abilities to Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, and Steiner. Magic Stones further enhance their powers.
The Synthesis system allows combining gear with specific items to create stronger equipment. Synthesists appear in towns and dungeons. Active Time Events let players see what other characters are doing. Chocobo Hot and Cold returns, guiding players to hidden treasure. Players can also assist Moogles in delivering mail via Mognet.
Chronos Stones, Platforms, and Event Duration
Players can earn up to 2,000 Chronos Stones during the 20-day event. Completing the storyline grants 1,000 stones, and logging in daily provides an additional 1,000. The event ends on December 23 at 14:59 UTC / 22:59 MYT.
