Where Winds Meet Surpasses 9 Million Players, With Mobile Version Arriving December 12
Everstone Studio has announced a major milestone for its free-to-play open-world RPG Where Winds Meet. The game has surpassed nine million players across all platforms in just two weeks.

Additionally, the studio confirmed that the mobile version will launch on December 12, 2025. It will also support cross-play and shared progression with PC and PlayStation 5. Pre-registration is already available on iOS and Android.
A Growing Community Ahead of the Mobile Launch
As the player base continues to rise, Everstone Studio hopes to attract even more players with the mobile release. Furthermore, cross-play will let fans switch between devices without losing progress.

This feature also makes it easier for newcomers to join their friends on any platform. Consequently, the mobile launch is expected to bring in a wider audience when it arrives in mid-December.
A Wuxia World Rooted in History
Where Winds Meet is set in tenth-century China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era. The story blends historical drama with traditional wuxia themes. As a result, players will encounter martial arts duels, heroic journeys, and a world shaped by ancient legends.

Combat also encourages experimentation through a variety of weapons. Players can wield swords, spears, dual blades, fans, or umbrellas. Each weapon offers its own techniques, so players can favour close combat, ranged options, or stealth.
An Expansive Open World of Discovery
The world spans around 20 regions filled with landmarks and dynamic events. Moreover, time, weather, and player choices shape how the environment changes. Exploration remains a major part of the overall experience. Players can enjoy peaceful moments such as playing flutes under willows or resting beneath lanterns.

They can also explore tombs or join large-scale battles. Where Winds Meet is available on PlayStation 5 and PC through Windows, the Epic Games Store, and Steam. The mobile version will soon complete its cross-platform lineup when it launches on December 12. For more updates on the game, follow their official X account.
