Fortnite Chapter 7 leaks tease a movie-inspired update with Kill Bill, James Bond, and more
With The Simpsons taking over Fortnite right now, where can Epic Games go next? There’s no rulebook anymore when it comes to what makes sense in the game’s lore, after all. Fortnite Chapter 7 could be an absolute dream for movie lovers, and if you’re like me, this already has me preparing to part ways with plenty of V-Bucks. New leaks are emerging, and it seems a few rumors from this year are coming together for a seasonal update that celebrates all things Hollywood.
Throughout the year, our reports on a potential Fortnite James Bond crossover, the Batmobile’s debut, or the massive Fortnite Disney collaboration seem to tease major plans to interact with the world of movies. Some of those things have come to fruition, as I am currently in Springfield, driving the 1989 Batmobile. It’s wicked. But we’re yet to see James Bond, and I need something to tide me over until the 007 First Light release date arrives.
Fortnite Chapter 7 could be the moment for Epic Games to make it happen. According to scoopers ‘FNBRIntel’ and ‘ShiinaBR’, we can expect to see an overhaul to the Fortnite map that echoes the glitz and glam of Hollywood. FNBRIntel claims that once Springfield disappears, a map featuring the iconic Hollywood sign, a desert biome, and barely any snow is what’s next. They add that weapons could include a “Gambler Shotgun”, which is supposedly inspired by a Las Vegas-style POI.
Adding to the Los Angeles-inspired locale, Shiina highlights that Epic Games is already teasing Chapter 7, with employees dressed as Fortnite skins taking the spotlight at a recent LA Dodgers game in the United States. Not only is it a fairly specific place to pop up, but the character impersonators may also be teasing the return of The Seven, an in-game team created by The Foundation – played by Dwayne Johnson. The team also features Brie Larson of Captain Marvel fame as the character Paradigm.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen them, and with all the changes to the lore, I’ve got no doubt some mind-bending antics are in the works. Shiina also points towards a recent Chapter 7 teaser that makes mention of “Zero Hour” and “Fortnite After Dark With Q & U”.
If you weren’t playing when The Seven were around, their efforts are pivotal in the fight to liberate The Zero Point, a cosmic being responsible for all manner of galactic shenanigans. We know that The Zero Point has been destroyed off-screen between Chapter 4: Season 4 and Chapter 5: Season 4, leaving plenty of questions unanswered.

However, the mention of Q & U is what really matters, in my opinion. This is a direct reference to the Kill Bill movies, a duo of wuxia-inspired action revenge films starring Uma Thurman. Oh, and they’re directed by Quentin Tarantino – no big deal. Seeing Thurman’s The Bride in Fortnite needs to happen. It’s bizarre, it’s funny, and it’s perfect for what Chapter 7 seems to be about conceptually. But I swear, if James Bond doesn’t appear after all these teases, I’m throwing hands.
