admin Have you perhaps noticed some small things changing around the Honkai Star Rail social media? We have, and we believe it’s to do with Amphoreus being deleted. The game’s next update looks to be a big one, and we’re already impatient for answers.
It appears that videos featuring the Chrysos Heirs are disappearing from the Star Rail Bilibili account. This even includes livestreams focusing on updates from the 3.0 patches. Anything related to Aglaea, Tribbie, Mydei, and the other five-star releases is being taken down – be it deleted or privatized for now.
While this is happening, the Star Rail X account is slowly posting pictures of every character involved with the hashtag ‘#TheLongestNight’. That’s the name of the next Honkai Star Rail update, debuting on November 5, 2025.
There’s also a countdown video on the games’ YouTube channels, showing colored strings that appear in each character’s picture, too. This introduces Cyrene, who mentions the ‘final Flame-Chase journey’, before the video turns into a black screen with text prompts showing items being deleted.
If you’re up to date with the story of the game, you’ll know that Amphoreus is partially a simulation. There are pieces of ‘memoria’ that became real, and the playable characters are likely real, too. This is a very simplified version, so I recommend playing some quests and soaking up the lore yourself so that it all makes sense when Cyrene appears to likely fix things. It’s not like we’re strangers to simulated universes, thanks to Herta…
We’re not sure whether anything will get deleted permanently, so maybe get downloading pictures and videos if you wish to keep them. Once the new update is out and we’re all immersed in the story, it’s likely that the videos will reappear. We hope, anyway.
