Anime Vanguards Broly guide
There are loads of excellent characters you can buddy up with, but we reckon that claiming the Anime Vanguards Broly unit is particularly worthwhile. Well, he’s actually cballed Brolzi in-game, but we’ll let it slide. As you can expect with this Roblox experience, you’ll come across plenty of heroes and villains inspired by popular manga and anime TV shows.
Some of us at Pocket Tactics are huge Goku fans, but Broly definitely deserves a bit of love, too. But where does Broly stack up in the grand scheme of things? Luckily for you, our handy Anime Vanguards tier list can help you see how well he performs in-game. Unlocking anyone in this game isn’t easy, though, so be sure to nab some Anime Vanguards codes along the way.
Here’s what you need to know about Anime Vanguards’ Broly:
Who is Broly in Anime Vanguards?
Broly is a unique unit in Anime Vanguards inspired by the Dragon Ball series. Like most units in the game, you can expect Broly to come equipped with a set of upgrades and attacks unlike other units you can use. There’s a fair amount of work to do before you unlock him and take him to his maximum potential, but don’t worry, we can help with that.
How do I get Broly in Anime Vanguards?
To unlock Broly in Anime Vanguards, you need to complete multiple quests. We recommend setting aside at least one hour of your time, as you’ll need to grind against your enemies to claim him. However, before you even consider rolling out to do these quests, you should consider using Lord Frieza, Rogita, and Roku. You can get Lord Frieza and Roku by summoning them on their banners, while Rogita is a reward you can earn by clearing the Frozen Volcano with Lord Frieza (Emperor). Although there’s only a 20% chance of adding Rogita to your unit roster.
If you’re ready to get started, here’s a complete list of quests to unlock Broly:
| Quest | Objective |
| Obtain the remote | Buy the remote from the Dungeon Shop for 2000 dragon tokens. The remote requires these three units: Rogita, Roku, and Lord Frieza (Emperor). |
| Clear the Frozen Volcano ten times | Obtain seven dragon balls while clearing the dungeon once. Repeat this at least ten times, with a team or solo. |
| Sacrifice 30 Mythic or higher units | Go to your units and sacrifice 30 of them. Use summons to grab more units if needed. |
| Kill Lord Friezo ten times | At the Frozen Volcano Dungeon, defeat Lord Friezo. You need to restart your match every time, as it only counts as one kill per session. |
| Save Broly/Brolzi | Enter the Frozen Volcano Dungeon with your seven dragon balls. A button to ‘save Broly’ will appear above the dragon balls icon. Tap it to complete the quest and get the Brolzi Pelt. |
How do I evolve Broly in Anime Vanguards?
After you’ve finished off those quests, you’re nearly ready to evolve into Broly. Anime Vanguards upgrades need a decent amount of resources, so don’t expect to do it right away. With your Vogita Super, head to the upgrades building and have these resources to hand:
- 100 green essence stone

- 50 yellow essence stone
- 50 purple essence stone
- 50 pink essence stone

After you use these items, you can evolve Vogita into Brolzi Super (Wrathful). Be warned, you can’t get Legendary Super Brolzi, as this unit isn’t available anymore.
How many times can I summon Broly in Anime Vanguards?
You summon Broly up to three times in the middle of a battle. Of course, you don’t need to manage when you bring him into the battlefield, as it’s not summoning him for the sake of it. We also recommend upgrading him first.

What are Broly’s abilities in Anime Vanguards?
Broly is equipped with three main abilities: Quick Learner, Unrestrained Power, and Innocent Rage. Each of them applies buffs, damage boosts, and reduces cooldowns in various ways during battle. As one of the first major Unbound element characters in Anime Vanguards, Broly can often be a devastating ally to team up with.
Here are all of Anime Vanguards Broly’s abilities:
| Ability | Effects |
| Quick Learner | If your unit’s crit chance goes above 100%, the excess automatically turns into bonus crit damage instead. Each wave stacks an extra 5% crit rate up to a hard cap of 95%. Every time it lands a crit, it instantly clears any debuffs on itself. It starts with a 50% crit chance the moment you place it, but that initial boost disappears once you upgrade it for the first time. |
| Unrestrained Power | Whenever this unit lands a crit, it immediately unleashes a triple-hit attack and boosts its own damage by 50%. This effect can’t stack and has a five-second internal cooldown. Whenever that triple-strike triggers, it also applies rupture to the target. |
| Innocent Rage | Whenever this unit lands a crit, it shaves 2% off the cost of its next upgrade, stacking up to 30%. If the unit hits an enemy and doesn’t crit, it immediately follows up with an extra basic attack and gains a 50% damage boost for 60 seconds. This buff can’t stack and has a five-second internal cooldown. |
