Sword of Justice, the newly released MMORPG from NetEase Games and ZhuRong Studio comes with its own unique set of character classes. Beyond their looks and fighting styles, each class offers distinct advantages especially in how their stat allocation can significantly affect your gameplay experience and help you craft the perfect character build. If you’re still unsure which class to choose, this guide breaks down every class (or “School”) in Sword of Justice to help you find the ideal one for your playstyle.

Nightwaker

This badass-looking class is a powerful DPS fighter who wields a sword, a classic choice that will likely attract many new players. Sword of Justice has done an excellent job making this class appealing, with high Damage and Mobility stats that make the Nightwaker both deadly in direct combat and agile enough to dodge danger with ease.

The Nightwaker boasts strong burst skills that can hit multiple enemies at once, though most of its attacks are suited on single targets, making it especially effective in one-on-one duels. Because of its relatively weak defense compared to other classes, however, you’ll need to rely on smart positioning and mobility to survive in battle.

Ironclad

Next up is the Ironclad, a male-only class that judging by its appearance, you can probably tell is built to be a Tank thanks to its extremely high Defense stats. While its attack range is among the shortest in the game, that’s perfectly fine since the Ironclad’s role is to stay up close to enemies and draw their attention away from teammates.

Overall, this class is quite well-balanced. Its other stats aren’t too low, and its fighting style is relatively easy to learn, making it beginner-friendly. With exceptional defense and crowd control, the Ironclad plays a vital role during dungeon runs and raids with teammates. Reliable, sturdy, and essential in any party, this is a class that earns genuine respect on the battlefield.

Bloodstrom

If you want to play a DPS class but don’t like having to constantly keep your distance from enemies like the Nightwaker does, then Bloodstrom might be a better fit for you. This class is a melee fighter with more balanced stats compared to the Nightwaker, some of its Damage has been redistributed to Defense, giving it better survivability.

Its mobility is also decent, so you can still perform agile maneuvers when needed instead of relying purely on defense. Compared to the previous two classes, Bloodstrom is arguably the more versatile, offering a flexible playstyle that doesn’t strictly follow traditional class roles.

Celestune

The Celestune has the longest attack range among all classes, letting you safely fight from a distance and avoid direct danger. While it might seem fragile at first glance, its Defense is actually higher than the Nightwaker’s, and it also boasts impressive Mobility. This means that even though it’s designed for long-range combat, Celestune can still handle itself in critical moments.

Celestune specializes in elemental attacks, which are perfect for crowd control and debuffing enemies from afar, making it an excellent choice for players who prefer to strike strategically rather than up close.

Sylph

Next is the Sylph, a female-only class that serves primarily as a Support role. Like the Celestune, you’ll need to keep your distance from enemies while playing, but in terms of Defense, Sylph is actually on par with the Bloodstorm.

While you can use her in direct combat, her main role is to protect and empower the party by providing healing and various support buffs. Since you’ll have to pay attention to many aspects of battle beyond just supporting your team, Sylph is considered one of the most challenging classes to master. Your performance as a Sylph can make a huge difference in the success of dungeon runs and raids.

Numina

Finally there’s Numina, a caster class that complements the Celestune but comes with a unique toolkit, including the ability to summon creatures. This class has a fairly complex rotation, especially once you unlock more skills, so it’s not recommended for beginners or players new to MMORPGs.

However for those willing to commit, Numina can become an incredibly deadly force on the battlefield. With high Damage, impressive range, and some of the most well-balanced overall stats among all classes, Numina rewards skilled players with immense power and versatility.
