That’s because Fisch events are happening all the time, shaking up the tides for better or worse. It isn’t always easy, though. There are loads of different types of Fisch weather to consider, each of them making your voyage trickier than the last. This guide lays it all out for you, so you can rest assured your next journey is a pleasant one.

What are seasons in Fisch?
Seasons are all over every Fisch server in Roblox. They’re one of the most universal features of the game, and each season lasts 576 minutes in real life, which is just under ten hours. Every type of fish prefers a certain season, which means their spawn rate is likely to be higher. If you’re the owner of the Seasons Rod, you can even increase those rates by at least 20%, with an overall boost of 50%.

Now you know what seasons are, it’s good to know how many there are in Fisch. Right now, there are four main seasons. Each of them is on a timer, meaning that they’ll activate at a specific moment in-game. There are also two special seasons, which we’ll include below.
What are events in Fisch?
Events in Roblox Fisch are different modifiers that take place in any server randomly. Some of them can be activated on purpose, often by using special items like Totems. Events are normally server-wide, meaning that every player can be affected while they’re playing. If you’re lucky, exclusive fish can spawn into the game. You’ll know when an event is active in Fisch because a prompt will appear on-screen.
In rare cases, you may find that events are tied to real-life occasions, but more commonly, the game’s daytime cycle is tied to them. As more Fisch updates arrive, more events are likely to be added.

Just like the weather or seasons, there are numerous events to check out in Fisch. You may also know them as Admin Events, but the purpose of them is still the same. If you’re wondering what events are in Fisch or have been featured before, here’s a complete rundown to dive into.

| Night of the Fireflies | This effect only happens at night, and when it does, every nocturnal fish becomes twice as easy to catch. |
| Night of the Luminous | Sparkling fish get a 10% boost to both catch rate and appraisal value. This effect only shows up at night, unless you trigger it manually with a Sparkling Totem. |
| Shiny Surge | The Shiny attribute boosts catch and appraisal rates by 3%. It occurs anytime, or you summon it with Shiny Totem. |
| Mutation Surge | The Mutation attribute boosts catch and appraisal rates for mutated fish by 15%. It occurs anytime, or you summon it with Mutation Totem. |
| Moonlit Mirage | During Moonlit Mirage, fish you catch can mutate with Lunar, granting one stack of Moonlit Bonus. Each stack boosts weight and value for all fish caught in the event by 5%, up to 25% max. Weight buffs like Abyssal stack additively. Moonlit Mirage only happens at night (15% chance) and lets you catch Lunar Threads (0.1% chance). Only fishing rod catches trigger stacks; appraisals and crab cages don’t. |
| Shark Hunt | Shark Hunt picks a random ocean spot and plays a unique sound on spawn. It has an 11% chance to replace an abundance event. Spot it by the circling shark. Fish within its radius greatly boost your chance of catching the hunted shark. Catch it to earn the ‘Shark Slayer’ title and end the hunt. |

| Scylla Hunts | Catch Scylla only in Veil of the Forsaken. Fish in green Fish Radar radius, and lasts 15 minutes. Spawn during the start of the day or night cycle. |
| Orca Migration | Five Orcas travel south from the north edge, past Arch, Moosewood, and Terrapin to the south. Ends after all are caught, or the south is reached. 5% Orca Egg per catch. |
| Whale Migration | Two Blue Whales follow a random path across the map. Ends after both are caught, or the edge has been reached. 20% chance of rain start (15 min), server announced. Trigger rain with Tempest Totems. 5% Whale Egg per catch. |
| Sea Leviathan Hunt | Single Sea Leviathan travels a straight random path across the map. Ends caught or map end (no despawn zone). 5% chance of night fog starting (15 minutes). Trigger fog with Smokescreen Totems. |
| Apex Fish Hunts | Global stock limit across all servers; spawn all servers, server announced. Despawn after stock out or 15 min. Red Fish Radar area; fish name/stock counter above, fish swimming. Vary by type, like Shark and Megalodon Hunts. |
| Zeus Storms | Zeus Storms last for five minutes and have a low chance of spawning at the start of any day. No indication will appear when the event is over. Players can use the Zeus Storm Toten to trigger them. When active, it gives players a 50% chance for anyone inside the Zeus Rod Room to be eliminated. Rewards the ‘Chosen by Zeus’ title in return. |
| Blue Moon | Blue Moon events only last for ten minutes, spawning during Clear weather at night in winter. Can be summoned with the Blue Moon Totem. Doors at Snowcap Island will open up the Blue Moon fishing spot. |
| Travelling Merchant | The Travelling Merchant boat spawns at Roslit Bay, Moosewood, Sunstone Island, and Terrapin Island. |
| Meteors | Meteors have a 10% chance to spawn in-game. One meteor can spawn at any time and lasts for around five minutes. They always land on the west of the island. |
| Sunken Chest | Chests floating on wooden planks can spawn in the ocean, signalling the remnants of a sunken ship. Players can open at least three chests to find loot. These spawn on an hourly basis. |
| Eruption | Chances of spawning are extremely low, but can be increased by players fishing in the same area by at least 10%. |
| Earthquake | Lasts for ten minutes before stopping. Low spawn rate similar to the Eruption event. |
| Nuke | Triggered by players catching a Nuke or Cursed Nuke and failing to balance it in the Nuke minigame, or players storing them in their inventory and letting them detonate. Guarantees that all fish caught in the blast will be affected by the Nuclear Mutation multiplier. |
| Cursed Storm | Can spawn at any time during the Cult’s Curse limited-time event or by using the Cursed Storm Totem. Fishing in a Cursed Storm Pool grants all fish double XP. |
| Strange Whirlpool | Spawn at Moosewood, State of Sovereignty, Earmark Island, and Roslit Bay. Sometimes appears at The Arch, Forsaken Shores, or Terrpain Island. Entering them teleports the player to Veritgo. |
| Poseidon Wrath | This event lasts for six minutes and can be triggered by the Poseidon Wrath Totem. All fish in the Poseidom Temple are harder to catch. |
| Avalanche | 5% chance to appear every six minutes, lasting between 30 and 120 seconds. Activated with the Avalance Totem, too. |
| Blizzard | Blizzards have a 7.5% chance of appearing in Fisch. They last for eight minutes and can be activated with the Blizzard Totem. |
| Absolute Darkness | 10% chance to appear and will last for at least ten minutes. The Depths become darker, and the Ancient Depth Serpent can be caught in its abundance pool. |
How does the weather work in Fisch?
In Fisch, the weather is a constant presence that adds unique conditions to the Roblox server you’re playing in. It can affect the spawn rate of fish types or encourage you to interact with features that are exclusive to certain weather types. As Fisch has a day and night cycle, it can determine what weather events happen and what fish you can expect to catch.
A full day lasts around 25 minutes in Fisch, with roughly 12.5 minutes of daylight and nighttime gameplay to play throughout the day. However, if there are issues with the server you’re in or your Roblox client, it may change this slightly. This doesn’t happen a lot, though, so don’t worry about it too much. Like events, the weather can be influenced by Totems, with the Sundial Totem known for speeding up the duration of the day.
All Fisch weather types
Just like real life, Fisch contains various weather types to consider when you’re sailing around. Most of them grant buffs or nerfs in various ways, making it a challenge if you’re grinding for certain species. It can even make you consider which of the many Fisch rods is worth bringing with you. There are nine types of weather in Fisch, so here’s how they all affect you in-game.

| Windy | It can show up on its own at about a 32.5% chance, or you can trigger it manually with a Windset Totem. |
| Rain | It can appear on its own roughly 28.4% of the time, or you can force it by using a Tempest Totem. |
| Foggy | It can show up on its own about 32.5% of the time, or you can trigger it by using a Smokescreen Totem. |
| Starfall | This event has a very small natural spawn rate at roughly 0.6%, but you can force it by using a Starfall Totem at night. It only appears after sunset, and once active, Fallen Stars start dropping. There’s also a 5% chance to trigger the Nova Mutation, along with a flat 10% boost to Progress Speed. You can’t skip this phase with a Sundial Totem or an Aurora Totem. When it’s active, you’ll also unlock the option to buy the Cerulean Fang Rod in the Luminescent Cavern. |
| Tornado | This weather no longer appears on its own and doesn’t have a dedicated totem to trigger it. When it’s active, everyone gets a flat 20% Lure boost. There aren’t any fish that specifically favor this weather. |
| Rainbow | This weather only shows up after Rain, with a tiny natural chance to appear, or you can force it by using a Rainbow Totem. When it kicks in, your Luck jumps by ten times, giving you a solid shot at rare outcomes, including a 15% chance for the Mythical Mutation and a 5% chance for the Rainbow Cluster Mutation. Shiny and Sparkling odds also get a small boost, and every fish you catch sells for 1.5x its normal value. You can’t skip this weather with a Sundial Totem, and it’s the one condition required to unlock the Rainbow Cluster Rod in Castaway Cliffs. |
| Eclipse | This weather shows up on its own with a small chance during the day, or you can trigger it instantly by using an Eclipse Totem. When it’s active, you can gather Solar Fragments in the Ancient Isles, and every fish you reel in has a 10% chance to turn into a Solarblaze variant. Regular fish don’t favor this weather at all, but it does activate the passive effect of the Fang of the Eclipse. You’ll also need this weather to unlock the entrance to the Ancient Archives, and it’s the key requirement for buying the Wicked Fang Rod in Crimson Cavern. |
| Aurora Borealis | This weather only shows up at night, appearing on its own with a very small chance or instantly if you use an Aurora Totem. When it’s active, your overall luck spikes massively, and every catch has a small chance to become an Aurora-type fish. Totems can’t force-skip this phase, so once it begins, you’re in it until it ends naturally. Triggering this weather also awards the Experienced True Beauty badge, and it unlocks the option to buy the Aurora Rod in Vertigo. |
