Apple Arcade users get Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new DLC for free
Thank goodness the wait is over. I don’t know about you, but all these teasers from Gameloft’s developers were driving me mad. I’m not a patient gal. Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s latest DLC, the cutely named Wishblossom Ranch (“Wishblossom”? Come on. How corny is that? I love it.), is available at last for all the hysterical Disney adults like me to purchase… except for those with Apple Arcade, who can look forward to getting it for free. There’s a reason I put it on the list of the best Apple Arcade games.
Wishblossom follows in the footsteps of A Rift in Time and Storybook Vale, the two earlier Disney Dreamlight Valley DLCs, which were also made available for free to anyone playing via Apple Arcade. Sure, you’re paying the subscription fee, but with all the new games added regularly and now these large premium DLCs added in two, it’s very good value for money.

So what does this new DLC bring to the table? Once a proud and thriving ranch, Wishblossom Ranch has fallen into disrepair, and our job is to restore it from the ground up. The DLC introduces rideable horses to care for and befriend, plow fields, and dig for hidden resources. These are just any horses, either. We get to team up with Maximus from Tangled, Pegasus from Hercules, and Khan from Mulan.
The expansion also introduces three new biomes: the snowy peaks of Wishing Alps, the fashionably lush Glamour Gulch, and the playful, fairy-tale Pixie Acres. Each region has unique plants, materials, and exploration challenges, much like the new areas in the other DLCs. Meanwhile, story quests bring in iconic Disney characters: Tinker Bell, Cruella de Vil, Tigger, and the OG princess Snow White.
Personally, what I’m most excited about, besides all the new characters, is the new possibilities for decoration: with the new biomes, we’ll get new trees, bushes, flowers, and furniture to craft and buy in Scrooge’s shop. I love to unleash my creativity on my valley and enjoy having new opportunities to decorate. Anyway, I need to leave you to it, I have a ranch to repair…
If you’re thinking of getting Apple Arcade for the first time because of this, then you’ve timed it well because from now until Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, you can get three months of Apple Arcade for the price of one. Why not treat yourself?
