Black Beacon Announces End of Service for Global Servers in December
Black Beacon has made its end of service announcement that it will close its global servers on December 31, 2025, less than a year after launch. The announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter) on November 17, citing operational challenges from the developer.
According to the Black Beacon team, the developer informed them that continuing global service beyond the Chinese version’s 1.3 update is no longer possible due to operational difficulties. The publisher stated this situation was “unforeseen and unavoidable” and beyond their control, making it impossible to provide future content, updates, and technical support.
Dear Seers,
First, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and passion for Black Beacon. Every moment we have shared with you on this journey has been a precious and unforgettable experience for our entire team. pic.twitter.com/5nY2RPkSFC

The shutdown will happen in stages:
- November 17, 2025 – New downloads and all purchases (in-app and web store) are now disabled
- December 31, 2025 – Game servers will officially close at 00:00 UTC
- January 2, 2026 – All official channels and the website will shut down
The game will remain playable until the final shutdown date.
Players can request refunds for unused “Rune Stones” (the game’s premium currency). The refund application period runs from November 17 through December 26. Players need to provide their UID, CS Code, remaining Rune Stone amount, payment platform, receipt, and payment email to apply. Purchased items like “Pure Energy Bonus” will continue working until their expiration dates.

As a farewell gift, the team is providing daily support items through the in-game mailbox until November 30, then switching to weekly rewards throughout December. These include Rune Shards and Spherical Fruits.
The Black Beacon team apologized for the short service period and thanked players for their support. They acknowledged the announcement might be particularly disappointing given how recently the game launched. Players who want to apply for refunds should avoid spending their Rune Stones after submitting applications to prevent calculation errors.
