Genshin Impact’s latest emo husbando knocks Love and Deepspace off the top of the charts
Those of you who follow along with the monthly mobile revenue report by Sensor Tower will know that it’s often Genshin Impact and Love and Deepspace sparring for the top spot.
Last month, it looked like Love and Deepspace was going to retain its top spot through Nod-Krai’s release – however, the numbers don’t lie, and it turns out that Hoyo’s epic gacha snuck back to the top of the charts with a whopping $54.7m profit, all thanks to Genshin Impact’s banner featuring Flins. Trust in the power of husbandos! Whether this trend continues with Nefer’s release, along with three amazing reruns, we’ll need to wait and see.
You can see the full ranks for October’s mobile money makers on Reddit – but LADS and its lads are down to second place with a measly $50m. Going further down past Pokémon TCG Pocket and Arknights, we find Honkai Star Rail in 8th place with $22.4m. Players did get a free copy of Permansor Terrae this patch, but it seems that he and March 7th’s Evernight version weren’t enough to pull in a huge profit.
Other key games we like to keep up with are still in the top 15, though they aren’t earning as much as they have in the past. Wuthering Waves raked in $15.6m with its latest echo-based DPS character, Galbrena, but Lupa’s rerun doesn’t seem to have gotten anyone’s wallets open.

Coming in last for the big five of our favorite Hoyoverse games is Zenless Zone Zero. It’s up slightly to $12.9m after a famously bad patch featuring Seed and Orphie, neither of which we’re very popular – last month’s earnings were around $10m. Still gigantic numbers compared to anything we’re used to, but for a big company, it’s not great.
Tune in next month to see where all the best gacha games rank, and which characters get the most spent on them. You can also check out our Genshin Impact tier list, Honkai Star Rail tier list, and Wuthering Waves tier list to see where we rank each individual unit.
