If you’ve been encountering problems with Battlefield 6’s audio, as many players have, then there’s a top-down revamp coming to EA’s blockbuster FPS. A complete review of the sound and effects is underway, with the intention of ironing out niggling frustrations people have had since launch.

As much was revealed by Florian Le Bihan, principal game designer on Battlefield 6, in response to a complaint about not hearing in-game footsteps. “The entire in-game audio is receiving a full pass to solve those issues, including fixing some issues that caused some sounds to completely cut,” he says on Twitter.
