Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the winners of the 2025 FIFA World Cup official eSports tournament with the competitive title eFootball. The championship took place from December 10 to 13 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with competitions in mobile and console divisions.

The tournament, which was co-organized by Konami and FIFA, saw record participation this year. A total of 90 countries and regions took part in the qualifying tournaments, with 16.51 million players competing for a spot. Twelve national representatives from each division advanced to the finals.

In the mobile division finals, Thai representative JXMKT defeated Brazil to claim the championship. After his victory, JXMKT shared his gratitude: “I am very proud and would like to thank my coach. Without him I could not become a champion, and I would like to thank my team and Thailand for the support. Dream came true.”

The console division final was played over two rounds, with Polish team Ostrybuch and Zilo conquering Italy to secure the world championship. Zilo, holding the trophy, expressed his emotions: “It’s very special for me, especially that I’m standing here with my brother. I’m really proud of us.”

Ostrybuch added: “We proved that we are the best, and we played incredibly. I couldn’t be more deserving.” The 2025 FIFAe World Cup marks a new milestone for competitive eFootball, bringing players from around the world together to compete at the highest level of the sport.
